The deputy Chairman of Renewed Hope USA & Covener of the Diaspora Support for Asiwaju Hon. Fola Olumo, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, over the appointment of Mr. Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, describing the decision as a well-deserved recognition of competence, integrity, professionalism and decades of dedicated service to the nation.
Hon. Fola Olumo on Friday, 21st August, 2026, applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for his continued commitment to rewarding excellence and strengthening key institutions of government through merit-based appointments.
She noted that Mr Olumuyiwa Enitan Abel’s emergence as the nation’s highest-ranking civil servant reflects the administration’s confidence in experienced technocrats capable of advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Renewed Hope USA’s chieftain highlighted Mr. Olumuyiwa Enitan Abel’s remarkable career in the Federal Civil Service, noting that he is currently the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education and the most senior Permanent Secretary in the service.
She further recalled that he had previously served with distinction at the Ministry of Police Affairs, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs,
and the Office of the Vice President, accumulating over seven years of experience as a Permanent Secretary across strategic government institutions.
Hon. Fola Olumo, the Convener, Diaspora Support for Asiwaju expressed confidence that the new Head of Service would bring his vast institutional knowledge, administrative expertise and reform-oriented leadership to bear in repositioning the Federal Civil Service for greater efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.
